The overarching idea of the project is to help restore value, agency, and resilience to small communities and remote regions by strengthening their position in relation to large urban centers, and to renew interest in them as sources of unique experience and alternative paths of development. Plastic Collection & RecyclingWe collect and recycle rigid and flexible HDPE and LDPE plastic, and are expanding our work with other materials. -
Workshop & Equipment DevelopmentWe independently build the tools and equipment we need, using resources available in our region.read more -
Educational ProgramsWe run workshops in various cities, teaching people how to work with plastic independently, including recycling techniques and how to create new products from it.read more
Manufacturing Products from Recycled Plastic
Two workshops operate under our shared project: Luv Toprak and Plastic Bakery. Each has its own specialization, but what unites them is that from the collected HDPE and LDPE plastic, we design and produce a variety of items. Some products are made on an ongoing basis, others as experiments or custom orders
Art Projects & Collaborations
We work with artists and develop our own art projects. When collaborating with artists, we introduce them to the basics of working with plastic, and provide space and equipment. Through this joint work, a number of projects have been completed and several exhibitions held
The Workshop
As part of the project, we are building a workshop and equipping it with machinery for plastic recycling and the realization of art and design projects
